Thank goddexx for my dear Seema Reza’s org Mission Belonging and her writing workshop on Fridays where nearly every time I go, I find some words that have been hard to find.
this is so deeply spectacular Jennifer and I can so deeply spectacularly relate---you can't cosplay your old life or even one bit of one life for another (I've probably tried and it didn't work---more out of cluelessness than anything intentional...) in any case but I suppose your presence in each life makes the poetry a g-damn miracle. Thank you for this and to Seema and your client and both places for the seeds. -D
As someone who loves her current life and location and also carries a constant melancholy about the city and parts of my old life there, this really hit home
