PRACTICE PRESENCE #2: Practicing with Trees
Hello out there,
Here we are in month two of Practicing Presence. This offering is now closed to paid subscribers. If you are not a paid subscriber but want to access these recordings— you can join for $5 a month. Thank you to everyone who has been supporting this humble space for the last few years.
The recorded meditation is below. Tried something different this month so unsure if it can be downloaded but if not— will return to the other way of recording next month. Regardless— you will be able to listen and return to it when you would like.
As the election was called a little over a week ago— a poem popped into my mind only to notice that as I went on Facebook— many writer friends were sharing it too. It was in the air and so it is our poem for the week.
In this practice we will be working with presence in difficult times, noticing when we future trip, noticing when we feel a feeling and don’t allow it to escape us, noticing what it feels like to return to a forest and breathe with the trees. The practice will be followed with a poem and a writing prompt.
If you would like to share a bit about your practice in the comments or even share some writing, know it won’t be a large audience. You are also welcome to keep you practice and writing to yourself too.
May this practice serve you and those you love.
